The Project
Governing Acupuncture on PEI
The College of Acupuncture of Prince Edward Island (CAPEI) is the official regulatory authority responsible for governing the profession of acupuncture within the province. Established under the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA), the College serves and protects the public by ensuring that all licensed acupuncturists in Prince Edward Island deliver safe, ethical, and competent care.
Brousseau Design built a professional WordPress website that clearly communicates CAPEI's regulatory mandate to three distinct audiences: the general public seeking safe acupuncture care, current registrants managing their licences, and new applicants entering the profession. The site balances institutional authority with accessibility — making complex regulatory information easy to navigate.
The result is a credible, professional online presence that reflects the College's commitment to accountability, professionalism, and excellence in regulated health care across Prince Edward Island.

Regulating acupuncture professionals who bring the timeless wisdom of Chinese Medicine into modern practice — ensuring safety, competence, and ethical care for all Islanders.
